Sorry for the delay on the picture. As you can see it is beefy. A titanium pin keeps the arm from rotating once the selected position is chosen. As for weight bearing, since the main purpose is for driver comfort when traveling weight bearing isn't an issue. It is not reccommended for passenger use as it is designed for use as a highway peg with weight limitations of 248 lbs.
