i haven't posted here in while but lately I'm posting alot because of all the stuff i want to ad on my speedmaster.. but this is for Fork gators which I really want to ad on,, curious if I need to remove each fork from the trees and slide them down and if so is there anything I should watch out for when doing this or is it just take them off and putt hem back on--> its never as easy as it sounds?

In this case it is. Gotta remove the lower shrouds too obviously. Better disconnect the brake calliper too to get it out of the way.

Do 'em one at a time and it's a snap. It's handy to have a bungee to hang the caliper (prevents brake line stress) from while you work the gaiters into position. In my case a set of flat lined needle nose pliers provided a much needed assist since I couldn't grow a third hand.

so remove the entire fork from the trees and everything slides off? also because I want to change to the 6" risers this would be the best time to re-drill the risers I'm figuring too..

you can either drill the tree or get/make adapters.

Yes, you could do it that way but I found removing one tube at a time kept everything else that's mounted there in their respective places. Once the bike is up in the air and the front wheel is removed and the brake caliper is hanging from a bungee the process is fairly quick and straight forward. I blocked up my rear wheel so the change in weight didn't upset the balance once the front wheel came off.
