I removed all the emission crud from my 07 , not a big deal.
just follow all the vacume lines and remove everthing attached.
just do not remove the vent line from the fuel tank.
I think the rubber boots from the carbs to the airbox are
available at the dealer.
the plugs on the vacume nipples always seem to dry and crack
often , just keep a few with the bike or in your jacket pocket.
