In '04 and later models the air mix screw is shaped like a "D" to prevent tampering by the consumer, hence the aftermarket "D" tool. Earlier models have a basic slotted screw instead. You'll find the air mix screw (one per carb) underneath at the front center adjacent to the float bowl.
