I ordered some Bub's pipes and have a question on the installation. I looked at the installation instructions for the Bub's pipes on their website and it says:
"...we recommend using hi-temp silicone seal on both the outside mating surface of the header and the inside mating surface of the muffler to insure against leakage."
Do you guys do this? The reason I asked is that I used some exhaust sealer installing pipes on my old bike and it melted and made a mess. If you do use the hi-temp silicon sealant, what kind do you use?
Looks like my weekend project is cut out for me...also installing airbox removal kit and rejetting
