What the ? , A guy I was talking to put these in his, mmm, hardly ... Like $200 each piston ... High revs ? Cooler ? , what ???

Teflon coated is more like it. Maybe you can fry an egg on them after your done riding.

Can't imagine teflon coated pistons retaining the teflon coating for very long. Ever use a steel spatula on a teflon frying pan?
The coated pistons may be useful for a race engine that gets rebuilt after every race, but I can't see much value on a street engine.

Coated? Or Teflon buttons installed in the piston skirts?
The latter is an old fuel motor trick (nitro burning engines, that is). The idea is to take up the excessive skirt-to-wall clearence with the buttons so the pistons don't rock.

I was talking to some dude that has a nice 10 sec 1/4 mile chevy. He said , they stay cooler , it creates more efficient combustion ...
