if you do with carbs i say go with the mikuni 42's. i had them on the stock motor and while the bike ran good they gave me no real hp gain. but with my 904 WOW. the throttle response is amazing and i can go WFO with no bog at all. on big bore bikes i think the 42's are it. they are expensive but you get great tech support from bill, plus he will be very helpful with any other future questions
