At the risk of jinxing myself, I still have the oem batt.
5 yrs old, no probs. Have the Batt TenderII, hooked it up
to see if it worked, and never used it again. Now I'm due!
I would think that your battery has a shorted cell, and
needs to be replaced. I'll replace mine if I can ever get
my new tires put on
