Hi everybody. I am the proud poppa of a 2007 Blue/White America. Love it! NEED TO RIDE MORE.

Here is my question. I was hesitant in installing the tach, but because of this message board, this loks pretty simple. I am hoping that wiring the drivng lights will bevery easy. I don't want tohave to pull the tank or any major witing. I would much rather learn to install these that than have thr dealer charge me

So, any tricks in installing the driving lights on a 07 TBA?

Splice in the headlight bucket. Take a 12V auto bulb if you don't have a tester and 2 short pieces of wire. Solder one wire to the side of the bulb and one to the center contact, strip the other end of the wires and twist them and you can solder them to make them stiffer if you want. You now have a simple test light. You can turn your High beam on for example and stick one wire end in the back side of the plugs in the headlight bucket and the other wire to ground (the inside of the bucket works fine) when you find the one that lights your test light flip the beam to low and if it goes out you can connect the driving lights to that wire and they will come one with your high beam and off with your low beam. This is how I wired Wendys but you can find a wire thats hot when the key is on and dead when off and wire to that or how ever you want to configure it.

Have a good look through it, it would mean taking the tank off, but go for it, best way to learn. I would recomend a relay in the circuit to supply the additional lights, you may be running close to the fuse value if you splice into the wires to the headlamp bulb to supply your new lamps. My two 55w lamps took a 9A current. The last thing you want is stranded in the dark with a light fuse blown or failed light circuit.

If using the stock lights blowing a fuse isn't an issue, Wendys has been wired that way since we bought it and have yet to blow a single fuse.

It's plug and play on an 07 but the tank needs to come off OR if you are careful you can just undo the rear and tilt it foward to get to the pre-wired plug. Really though, it's not hard to remove the tank and do it right, tie wrap the wires, ect. and have it nice and clean.

Just did the tachometer install tonight based off info from this forum. It went great! The hardest part was just getting the wires back under. I'll try the driving lights this weekend when I have more time.

Be prepaired to work for a while getting the wire harnedd thru the center hole and out to the ends-it's took me quite a while and a few beers!
