We're back from our Little River Canyon ride, thanks Ed for a great tour guide job...Kimmy is still blabbing...she had a BLAST..I'll let Wade and Ed post the details under "tales from the road", but in short, nobody got hurt, nobody went to jail, and all 5 bikes performed flawlessly (including Mr. "Pilot Jet"), met LOTS of nice (and unusual) people along the way..we estimate some 250 miles or so all together...Great therapy for me as well...Should make this a yearly thing....

Yeah , man , that was a whole heapafun , finally made it home with my eyes nearly crossed . Lotsa precedents set:
1. Lola's Alabama debut
2. First time EVER seeing other Triumphs on the road
3. First sustained 85 mph for 7 hours

Old Roadie is actually not old .
Had fun , guys n girl ! Thanks , Ed , John , Mark , Kimmy
Going home on 6 wheels was a bummer

Wade,
I tried to tell you that trailers are for boats. Glad your ride went well, it was a tough call choosing between two rides like that, BUT the pancake run was cool... and very foggy... with occasional drizzle... right until the very end (literally in the last 2 miles or so) when the sun broke through and made us smile.

Thom I might be wrong, I sometimes am.

All in the eyes of the beholder. The mirror tells me a different story every morning when that geezer (whoever he is) looks back at me.

We had a good ride and I hated for it to end but as I predicted I still had time to get in cut 2 acres on my other weekend ride, a green with yellow trim John Deere. Thanks for coming over, I'll see if I can't work out another run plan that we can share...it was truly a blast not being the only Triumph on the road for a change.
