Oldroadie,go for the Hagon shocks.They ride much,muuuuuuch better than stock.I got the lower end ones for $194 plus shipping from DaveQuinnMotorcycles out of the east coast somewhere.I do not know if he still sells them.He was the US distributor when I bought mine this past year.I got ones that were 1/2" longer and all black.He ask your weight,etc. Wish I would have bought them when I first got the bike.Good luck.
