The key is about 2" long and about 1" wide. I have mine on the keyring for the extra keys and it is fairly inobtrusive.
I also use one of those quick disconnect deals so the only thing hanging is the main key, a small key ring, and that part of the connector. The rest is in my pocket and does not bother me...
