Since I got safety savvy, I wear a Hein Gericke armored jacket all the time now. It has a liner for cold, zippers for hot venting and gore-tex for rain. I keep gore tex pants and rubber gloves in the bag with a bandanna to ward off facial rain sting (no windshield). Takes up practically no room since the bulkiest item-the jacket- is on me.
