What are your jetting specs? I just did the hole in the bottom of the airbox/filter bit and i'm just wondering what those with the same plus snorkel removed are using. I have 130 mains and 1 shim with stock pilot jet and 3 turns. like to hear what yours are. Also please state your bike model and year.

When I had a modified air box
132 mains
45 pilots
one shim
epco's
Have the k & N s hanging of the back now so its completely different. 132's were about as high as I could go with the air box.

What i'm finding sorta odd is that you all have larger pilots than i do. I have the stock 40 that the 05' speedy comes with, but you all have 45's and in one case 42. but the thing is, my bike's strongest range is the bottom, so my pilot i would think is fine. Maybe it's that old 865 SM cam thing again, i don't know. Just seems odd. Does anyone think i should go up on the pilot? And do any of your bikes happen to be 05 SM's? Even tho the bottom seems very strong maybe i'm missing out on an even stronger bottom?

Daz- I think the stock pilot size is 42 not 40. I could be wrong though.

It is for the 790, but mine's the 865 which the manual states has a 40. but you did make me realize one of the replies is the stock jet assuming his is a 790 engine which it probably is. Still the rest have upped thiers.

We have about the same setup except for the airbox mod. Made that big a difference, huh? I am running pretty good with the slightly cooler, drier weather. Wonder what the effect would be here in Central Fla.?
