The joys of hard bag install [not!]

`

Trying to get the tops to line up so the luggage racks are the same height

or not

````````````````````````````
Trying to get 'em level
or not
`````````````````````````````````````````

same as post one

```````````````````````````
On the Left, Brent's. On the right, Tsukayu's
Tsukayu has some slim mounting bracketry
```````````````````````````````````````

No extra charge from Tsukayu for the rust

`````````````````````````````````````
It seems to be a toss up how to dial these bags in - if you get the tops where you want them, the bottoms may not be where you want. A solo seat rear edge wants to compete with the fore & aft placement too. We'll get there.
I see your problem,,,there's not enough stuff in this pic:
I'd be happy to come up, pop a few pale ales and offer some laughter--er--encouragement, yeah, that's it. Um, part A, attaches to part B, while intersecting part C.
Seriously--i know how it is--i like things to be exact also. i know you'll make it work!!
You are kidding on that rack I hope,that didn't come new with rust on it,did it?!
Line one up on one side where you want it, take an old pizza box or similar material and make a template of the bag you have mounted where you ant it. The side of the template that isn't against the bag you have drilled will be against the one you wish to mount the same. They are a mirror image so to speak. Make sure you have the edges of the template lined up where you can line up again on the other bag.
Just looking at the picture, I realized if I screw down some lattice to the lumber,
I could have me a SERIOUS luggage rack.
I may even go large, and get the color matched poly stuff.
The rack did indeed come that way, received and opened about a week ago.
Guess they're still mad at us for sending Nixon to visit.
geez that's funny. I've been there for sure although I think my setup involved some washers hung by thread from the garage ceiling.
I don't think the zip ties will stand up to long use on a hot exhaust though.
