Yeah, for me there is. I found this write up a few months ago, after someone else here suggested using it. Did a little research, and I'm satisfied. Check these links, and do some research on your own, and I'm sure a whole bunch of BA.Com members will chime in here again, too. Do a search on the subject here on BA.com - this comes up weekly.

I'll pay whatever I have to for a superior product if warranted, but in this case, I think there are superior products that don't cost as much as some might have you pay...

That 5w-40 converts - 15w-50 - I still don't fully understand the viscocity thing, I just know this stuff is shear stable, full synthetic, and has extremely low pour point, and high flash point. And nothing that's going to hurt the transmission, either. That is all I have used, and I have 10k miles. Did the 500 miler, then again at 4k and 8k - I'm sticking with the original maintenance schedule not so much because I have to, but because I enjoy doing the work myself, and look forward to it. I'm satisfied that it is one of the more superior products out there.
