the way a chair looks, all loaded up with riding gear; after coming in from a cold(to me) afternoon ride. don't even think it broke 45° here today. got about 60 miles worth of scuff on the new sneakers though. we went to the Connecticut River for the obligatory firstphotooftheyear. she does like to have her photo snapped; that's for certain. also got to take a bunch of cool shots that have absolutely nothing to do with motorcycles stopped for a cup of blacksumatrafrenchroast at one of my favorite little coffee haunts on the way home. as i was walking back to Blue a guy decked out in notridingtoday Harley gear came over and said, "Hey. I really like your bell." "yeah? did you ring it?" "Uh...yes. should i have asked for permission first?" well, here is the obligatory firstphotooftheyear:

Yeah , I was a'wondering also , where's this ubiquitous bell ? Update - my little brass bell that's been with me forever got torn off when I ran over the chunk of wood a while back . Just a piece of broken wire back there . Lola can't tinkle .

First ride of 2008 for me today too. Might of hit 52 degrees, but that was after I got home. The nerve of some people ringing "THE BELL" without permission... I took my tooter off for that reason - everyone kept squeezing it.

I'm guilty too, I had to ring that bell too! It's possessed I tell ya. When I saw it I kept hearing this very faint voice...ring me.....ring me..... I just couldn't help myself and had to reach out and ring it. I felt better after that and then the voices started telling me to stay home next day and clean my guns.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains.
