Level the bike--tape off--trial and error--i changed the tail light and used the gasket as a template--you can see the black lines on the tape--
I used a jig saw,was quick and easy, sanded the edges, a little paint and done
i made my cut along the top of the tape on fender sides and to the top of the original tail light indent. you may wish to cut less or more depending on if you're keeping stock light or going custom--
