I'm going to do it eventually. I have been told a jigsaw, grinder with a cutting wheel, even a sawzall will do the trick. To get even cuts on each side I am probably going to use a cardboard template and line it up evenly and mark with duct tape. Good luck, would love to see how it turns out.
