So...like nearly everyone else on here my front wheel oscillated between 40 and 50mph. Normal after winter maintenance checked the pressure and added some air. (DUMB) Front wobbled worse. Lowered the pressure to 25psi and no wobble at all. worked great and suggest you try it yourselves.

What tire?
Could be it's cupped. 25 psi is probably too low.

I used to run 10psi in the rear tire on my chopper but that was a tube type. 25 should be enough to ride safely as long as you keep an eye on the pressure and don't let it drop much more. I do think needing the pressure so low is a sign you have something else going on there, like misaligned something, or cupped tire,or something else.

Its a brand new yet cheap IRC tire. Its max pressure is 41psi. What is the recommended tire pressure for our bikes. Its called out in the owners manual, but unfortunately I don't have one. If I try to put into theory why the reduced pressure is helping, I think the more ground contact is what stopped it. More friction to hold the tire steady to the road. It has a tube in it.

When you install non oem tyres, toss the owner's manual recommendation. Use the tyre manufacturer's recommendations.

for example:

Avon:
100/90-18 AM41 Venom - 32psi
170/80-15 AM42 Vemon - 36psi

Dunlop:
100/90-18 D404 - 31psi
170/80-15 D404 = 31psi

Metzler:
110/80-18 ME330 - 38psi
170/80-15 ME880 - 40psi

OEM 2002 prefire Bonneville America
Front 31psi
Rear 31 psi

Almost makes me wonder if the IRC is installed in the right direction.
