I'm about to wash down my painkillers with the last glass out of a bottle of wine....

Anything stronger I'd lose my job...the railway has a very strict drugs policy. Well a drop of scrumpy would be ok, just more than 12 hours before I start work.
But then even the painkillers mean I can't do my job and I'm restricted to the office.....which I'm not enjoying.
