Nobody has said anything in quite a while, but I thought I'd start a fresh thread rather than resurrect the old one. I'm flying out tomorrow. If nothing else I believe I have Brent's phone number and we can make him the point man on getting together this week. Naw. We're wheels up at 1pm.
I'm open any night, but I suppose I'd lean towards Wednesday or Thursday. The hotel has internet access so I'll check back here tonight.
Sorry Ron, I should've said something a little sooner. When I brought this up a month ago everyone said 'remind us when it gets closer.' Well, it IS closer. A lot closer. ::sigh::

Wednesday at Wilhoites? I've never been there, but it's not far from the airport. I can make it, but it'll take me a while to get there. I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to get there before 8:00.
This will be a crazy week-
Monday Night- Big Meeting Prep
All Day Tuesday- Big Meeting
Wednesday Night- Wilhoites or somewhere like it.
Thursday night- Install new brake pads, change oil, finish making p-pad for the new seat/sissy bar set up, load up the saddle bags.
Friday Night- T-ball game and family dinner.
Saturday Morning- VACATION ON THE BIKE FOR A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy week yes! I work 24 Wednesday got a crazy amount of things to do before the Big Bend ride! all week. Sorry John I won't be able to meet up with you. My loss for sure I was really hoping to hook up but I'm booked solid. Have fun while in big "D" T

My class gets out at 4:30, so anytime after that is fine. Probably the earlier the better. I have a rental car so I can meet you there. No one has to go out of their way to come get me.

Pics of us would be pretty boring, but a couple snaps of our waitress would have been nice....
It was a really good time. I enjoyed meeting Friar John. I always heard talk of his "Hammer of Smiting" but I didn't realize he actually carried it around with him. It was heavier than I thought it would be. Levi and Brent were there too, but I met them before. Brent is still a good guy and Levi still laughs like a 12 year old girl....

Levi blushes easily, too...  Didn't I forget to mention that was the portable version of the Hammer? The airlines won't even let me check full-size version. That was the handy travel size...
