The signature colour of the Crocker was a really nice shade of blue. The K series HD was a Britified replacement for the 45 inch WL with a right side footshift. A few years later, they converted the engine to overhead valves and called it Sportster. At some tracks, the conditions favoured the 45 inch WLR (racing version of the WL) and they were winning races into the 60's. The W series first went into production around 1934 and, if you count the 3 wheeler with the same engine, continued into the early 80's.
