Does anyone know where the jackets for Triumph are manufactured? I refuse to put down that much money on a jacket made in China. Anyone know where I can find out where the jackets are made?

both of my jackets..sympatex Pantha Jacket..Raptor#2 Mesh summer jacket have tags that say "made in VietNam" .Also as an extra note..both my Riders zip thru and my yellow zip thru have tags that say"made in Korea" ..my navy blue Triumph t-shirt says"made in China" ..I believe that this is an indication of another world global company sharing their wealth(at our expense!)..quality and workmanship is excellant in all my Triumph clothing...just make sure you size everything up..the fit is not all the same!!

life is good..I am retired..sold my America in 2008,bought a Rocket and sold that in 3/2013 and now own a new Triumph Bonneville T-100

Yep, my Triumph jacket (checkered black and white stripe with Triumph on the back) says Viet Nam. Love the jacket. Excellant quality. Would I have given an extra 50 bucks for it if it was made by my British cousins? Definately! Loyalty rules!

I guess the Philippines started charging too much. My summer mesh jacket from 2005 was made there.

I am starting to think England is getting like America. Make something! No way, we can't be having that.

I have a highway jacket and love the quality but a little smaller than I expected. I'll have a look when Wendy wakes up to see where that is made.I would love to find another one for Wendy, I bought her a ladies large but it's a tad small. Love the brass zippers and buckles, wish they still made them.

The one thing about Triumph is to go bigger in size. It's also good to get it at a Triumph dealer or if you go with an on-line vender, one with a good retutn policy. Because the sizes do vary. I got both versions of the LXX large Triumph team shirt and the XLL large fasion shirt and all of them fit differently.

Over 50 % of all good manufactured are manufactured in China. They havent even got half the population mobilized yet.

I got both of ours new with tags from Ebay mine was $89 and Wendys was close to that too. She is trying to get to where she can fit into it, she loves the jacket.

I just looked and I don't see the place of manufacture anywhere on it.
These are the shots of mine from the Ebay ad before I bought it. I had saved them so I could look for one for Wendy.

Nice looking jackets. Similar to my Teknic jacket.

its very hard to find any leather products made in the U.S.A. because of the E.P.A. you see, there are laws to deal with and tanning in the U.S. is almost a thing of the past. most leather comes from pakastan, or asia some place because they are so much loser with their laws and they dont have an e.p.a. to deal with

No matter where it's made, don't skimp on your leather jacket!!! I got busted up from my accident but that Triumph jacket took the brunt of the road abrasion and saved my skin!! Docs & RN's are surprised I had no road rash. I have one torn section on the jacket left arm but that can easily be sewn on.
You can get cheaper leather, but after what I just went through, if I ever have to I'll buy the pricier stuff because I know it works beautifully.

Oddly enough, mine doesn't have a 'made in' tag. But, the inspection tag lists the manufacturer as "SL #2".

I just bought a new jacket from Fox Creek Leather. Beautiful design, excellent quality, excellent customer service, made in America, and really expensive!!!!!
But, unless I go out in a flaming fireball one of these days, this jacket should last me a loooong time.

Don't equate cost with quality, I have a Guide Gear jacket and it is as good or better quality than my Triumph jacket. It cost me a whopping $75 new. Very good and tough leather and very well made.
