Have you ever had a song start out and due to ambient noise, couldn't immediately adjust to the key of the song so it sounded right? I was on the way to work on the Geezer HD listening to the radio doing 50 mph at 2200 rpm and 'After Midnight' started playing. Couldn't get the song to sound right even after turning up the volume. Had to downshift and bring the rpm up to 3000, and "Presto" it was all good. I've had this happen on a few songs where the key of the music didn't click with the bike, but when you're doing 3000 rpm at 70 mph there's little else to do for it.... What a canundrum!

Just an obsevation..

later, Tom.

But, what do I know?

Wrong forum - I would bet most of us don't have one of those fancy new radio things on OUR TRIUMPHS.

But it does happen in my VW.... ahhh, maybe that's just the exhaust rattling?

Is that like the new Fat Bob, or Ultra Classic Electra Slide?

Me on the Geezer HD clearing some trees from the front yard and listening to Clapton.

Next time I'll play a cassette with select music in the proper key for 3000 rpm. Problem solved!

later, Tom.
