I got 13k outa the stock b'stones, and despite what most here
say, I thought they were pretty good.

UC,
I have also noticed people on here don't like them.
Of course, it's a different animal but I've been running Bridgestones on my RT Beemer (BT 020's and previously BT 56's) for the last 12 years to include very, very extensive touring (at significantly higher average speeds compared to the Speedy) and have never been let down (both long life and grip-wise).

I didn't say I don't like the Bridgestones, but there are tires I like better.Wendys bike still has the bridgestone on the back with no complaints. Her front one had to be replaced at about 4,000 miles. It was causing a front end wobble at certain speeds. I got a really good buy on a Michlin online and so far she likes it and no wobble. I was clued into a problem with some Michlin tires and hers wasn't one of those models.
