I'm knee deep in a hard bag install as I post this.
I just opened a set of the luggage racks that came from the hard bag maker, Tsukayu.
One rack is rusty, and both racks have very wimpy / tiny mounting brackets.
I'm not exactly looking forward to mailing them back to Hong Kong.
I just placed an order with Brent for two more of these
http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/solo_rack.htmlso all three will now match, and can actually hold
lashed on items. The Tsukayu racks are apparently just for show?
I'll try to get a comparison picture up later tonight.
Also Z, take a close look inside the bag where the smaller
side of the locking latch attaches. On mine, the rivets barely make
it through the fiberglass, and are essentially glued in place,
so I'm going to drill and bolt mine, for if the smaller side of the locking latch
falls off from vibration, getting another one in short
order could be quite a challenge.
