You nailed it. We're talkin like a 2 deg warming, but my understanding is that it leads to more extreme weather. Colder cold, hotter hot. It only has to be extra hot for one or two days a year to keep that warming trend mathamatically, so people LOVE to point out the cold days and say "Suck it Gore!" But it is warming... Plus people can't seem to separate the issues into the fact that the earth is warming and if it's a man-made problem.
