Went to buy a used 2002 America today. Only 1900 miles on it. It had been setting a few months. It fired right up but the hose running from a link between the two carbs (an overflow?) kept leaking gas. An it acted like it was starving for fuel. Would this be stuck float or floats?
Checking before purchase. Any help?

Thanks!!

Yep.. float stuck. Tap on the float bowls with a screw driver handle.. might loosen it up.

either leaking feed line or stuck float, either one is no big deal.

Sounds like a candidate for some Seafoam. Unless, of course, the float is ruptured and won't float. It'll be easy enough to tell which and to fix.

Sounds like a good reason to drop the price too!
