Here's a look at the universal Kuryakyn grips I installed last weekend. They're a lot fatter and softer than the stock grips, and far more comfortable to hold. They don't transmit any vibration at all.

I ordered them online direct from Kuryakyn. They are the universal model, for metric bikes. A quick call to Kuryakyn will have you on the right track. I had my mechanic install them (you need the right kind of glue, and I wasn't ready to fool around with the throttle cables, etc.). Many here can and have done it themselves. Price for the grips was around $80.

Guys - Do NOT use the universal 1" grips! Phillip's mechanic got them to work, but it isn't easy. There are Kury's that are plug and play, just look up Ma's Cycles in North Dakota on the net, tell 'em what you are riding, and they'll fix you up with the right ones. You can do these yourself, the Universal's, well...good luck.

Levi is right (scary thought) about the grips from Ma's. Mine went on in about 15 minutes without any problems.
