I have a purebread Husky also, not to be trusted off leash. They like to hunt small animals, cats, rabbits, birds, magpies. Training wasn't bad, this is my second one. They have a pack mentality, have to show him who's the lead dog, not hard to tell where he figures his position is in the family. Mines a male, the females, especially wolf mixes, like to dig big holes in your yard to bed in. Good luck.
