Finally got my copy of the DVD with the 10(?) episodes! I've heard sooo much about it, and after watching the first 3 episodes, man it was worth the wait! Can't wait to see the rest! Oh, I guess I must have the uncut version as those two guys swear as if they were ....hhmm, 2 bikers having a normal coversation

I got the DVDs just as soon as they became available here in the US. I ended up watching them all at once one weekend. Good show! I haven't seen Long Way Down yet.

So did I! I have the extended version (12 episodes).

I was very curious and got that too. I tried to watch it on a couple of occasions and kept falling asleep. I am a little biased on that one so will not explain my reasons for losing interest, thus not spoiling it for others.

Just finished watching The Long Way round with my wife last week. She is not a rider, but like so many people got caught up in the folks they met and the scenery they filmed.
I do think the best strictly MC related part was Claudio the camera man on the light russian bike cruising through the boggy country while those heavy beemers keep sinking.

I watched the series and read the book- could'nt help thinking there was an awful lot of complaining, when in reality it would be many motorcyclist dream- the website, when it was launched also carried a pricetag of £23.00 ( $47.00) with a whole £1.00 going to the box now ticked ( charity).
I did really enjoy the first series- it seemed more raw- more of an adventure, but...will I watch another series...yes of course!
