Pretty much the whole left wingnut environmentalist wacko movement treats him as if he is their leading light. He's the Pope of Global Warming and the darling of Hollywood, the Kyoto accorders, the UN, the Nobel committee and school teachers everywhere who force defenseless kids to sit through his factless piece of propaganda. Pretty much all those people who excuse outrageous lies in order to support their “greater truth†that is just another lie.
Anyone who repeats his propaganda, accepts his premises and touts his solutions is tacitly accepting his authority on the issue.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
