I was on I-95 today, up in CT just North of NYC. From the road, I saw a "Smart" car dealership in an elevated display house. Has anyone seen one of these up close? They are just barely larger than the two front seats. I saw one in upstate NY a few weeks back. I'd love to take a ride in one, bet they knock down some serious MPG. The news article for the CT dealer reflects they get about 40 mpg.
