Watch the extras on the DVD if you can. I was very interested in how they did the film. The actors did act out the movie in front of cameras but wearing body suits in a studio that was flooded with infrared light to pick up the points on the suits. They used wire frame furniture and props to simulate everything. At one point Barry Sonnenfeld, the director points out that they have filmed more in two hours then they could have gotten in six weeks of actual filming. They then took the film and were able to add textures and backgrounds to fill in the film. This technique also made it faster to animate. I can see a lot of animated films going this route. You get more of the realistic facial expression and body movement of actors plus cut the animation time.

As for Iron Man, it looks great and I've already told Nancy that she can't take Adam to see it until I get back from Georgia.
