Those who recommended the kuryakyn pegs knew what they were talkin' bout ! just installed a set and i gotta say they are maybe the best thing i've done yet as mods go. Feel just like floorboards with the blades out. but with them in they're also much better than the stock pegs because they are wide and flat and a bit longer. The blades can be used to move your feet back if they get tierd of the normal position on long rides. they also look great with nice chrome and at $100 for the pegs and adapters they're hard to beat. i was actually suprised at the comfort and versatility. I'd highly recommend anyone who's thinking of floorboards to consider these. I'd rather have them even if they were the same price as floorboards ! don't trust the pics to tell you anything about how well they work. I had no idea they would be this nice.
oh, and as to the problem some have had with them spinning...not with mine. I think they just didn't tighten them enough. Even if it does happen, roughing up the mating surface between the pegs and adapter will work as attested to by those who've done it. But at least for now i don't have that problem.
