Only had 3 in my pipes but some do have 4. When using the hole saw be sure to use a metal cutting hole saw with plenty of cutting oil. Also use a smaller saw the same size as the center pipe. Put the saw the size of the hole you want to cut on the center with the smaller one at the same time. The smaller saw blade will act as a center to help prevent damage to the outer pipe or mesh that lines the length of the pipe. The rest of the baffles are just spot welded to the mesh and knock out easily. Do Not remove the reducer cone or you will lose bottom end torque. If you have 06 or newer pipes it will have a catalytic converter in it. This is a honeycomb like part and is soft. Do Not try and just beat it out it will just smush up and be a real pain. You need to try and find the pins that hold it in and cut those and then force it out. I've done it but it is not an easy job and would opt for buying an older set to gut instead.
