getting ready for some pre-season maintenece i usually use a couple tie down straps suspended from the cieling and attatch it to the handlebars to hold the bike upright for easy handling.

i noticed that the front forks have alot of travel expanding as the weight is removed, then i stood back and started thinking the bike looks good with that attitude. maybe a couple inches longer in the fork length. out of curiousity what would it take to make the forks stay there, longer springs..?? has anybody done this..?? BTW its a bonneville america that im speaking about.

i also realize the america suspension is set soft for the ride, but i think the front forks could be a little stiffer per my taste anyway.
