3-4 months with my Pingel adn no leaks yet. I used all teh oem stuff that came wiht it.
Maybe they changed the formula and the new stuff is better?
If/when you remove it again check the base against a straight edge and see if its warped. Also...chech the bottom of your tank for warpage, leftover crud, etc...
