I had that problem after about 9 months after installing, at first I thought it was from a SEA FOAM treatment... anyway, I bought a sealant from Auto Zone that was supposed to be fuel resistant, well that only worked for a day or two. Then I went to Home Depot and got Seal All for gas and oil. Says It works to seal carb floats, so I gave it a try. Put it on the threads, then teflon tape, then another coat of Seal All over that, let dry for a minute screwed it in, let sit for a day or two, then filled with fuel. No leaks!!! The adapter plate never had a leak, just the threads, but now I think its good to go. Its been a couple months now, and the leak has not returned.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.
