Ive had to walk the streets there a couple times. I ran out of gas once, I even had to appear in traffic court once. Every single time I feared for my life, just for simply being white.
What do you do when your country is telling you to appear in court, in one of the most dangerous cities, and you cannot carry a small handgun for your personal protection?
Sorry Tom, I know you asked Melvin this question and not me, but I have a couple o' answers for ya here, dude.....
I'd either:
(a)-stop getting traffic tickets.
or
(b)-whenever you DO get a traffic ticket and have to go to Camden NJ to appear, wear a coat and tie and try to look as much like an off-duty cop as you can.
or
(c)MOVE OUT OF NEW JERSEY

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
