Mel, all we're trying to tell you is gun culture and crime are 2 different things...thats all. It doesnt matter what country you live in.
The US state (new jersey) that I live in doesnt let you carry a gun. Theres a city 20 minutes from my house called Camden which was labeled "most dangerous city in all of the US" in 04 and 05.
Do you think the gun law is helping the crime in this city?
Ive had to walk the streets there a couple times. I ran out of gas once, I even had to appear in traffic court once. Every single time I feared for my life, just for simply being white.
What do you do when your country is telling you to appear in court, in one of the most dangerous cities, and you cannot carry a small handgun for your personal protection?
Put yourself in my shoes
