FW: SFRC Newsletter - Governor's Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety -- Public Input Meetings
On March 21 and April 12, the Governor's Advisory Committee for Motorcycle Safety will be traveling to Portland (and other parts of the state later this year) to obtain public input on various motorcycle safety issues. By holding their monthly meetings around the state, the Committee is hoping to hear from as much of the riding public as possible.
Topics that the Committee will be looking for public comment on include: the rising motorcycle crash rate in Oregon, unendorsed riders, mandatory training, lane splitting, the Committee's Strategic Plan for Motorcycle Safety (see first link below), and any other safety-related topics that you'd like to speak about.
Please come out and let the Committee know what's on your mind!
