Sorry, to clarify, but by high cruising speeds I was thinking in terms of 90-100 mph and over to say 125 mph (easily sustainable by bigger touring and other bikes) which is why I mentioned "it's not feasable to ACHIEVE and sustain high highway speeds".
My rolling speeds on the Speedy are similar to yours (80 to 95mph), but I don't consider these high, by any means (in comparison, of course).
