Bedouin, I guess it should have read that after riding through every country in Europe on a single trip, you feel ready to go again.

Exactly .

Without writing a lengthy review I would say that you can do almost anything (bar touring the Sahara) on this machine.
The only "fault" I can find with this bike is that it's not feasable to achieve and sustain high highway speeds comfortably (90-100 mph and +), especially two-up with baggage.
Also, I don't like windshields (on a cruiser) and don't use one which may make a significant difference.

Other than the abovementioned "fault", I would say this bike "plays" everywhere, either for day-to-day use or for low to mid-speed touring purposes.

For example, our bikes (and corresponding speeds/power-curves) are IDEAL for secondary West European roads and some of the not-so-perfect roads (highways) of Eastern Europe, to include the Baltic and the Balkan countries, where, at best, their highways resemble Western European secondary roads and at worst are almost off-road adventures (I am not exaggerating).

If one where to include high-speed highway comfort/performance, I would think that Clanrickarde's suggestion of a 1200cc would be a better balance, provided there wasn't a significant weight overhead, of course.

Anyhow, I've ridden many bikes on long distances which were a heck of lot worse.

I also did an Iron-Butt run with it after the EuroRally in '06, from Assendorf in north Germany to Pescara and back to Ancona in Italy (1800 km) with a broken leg (extremely swollen ankle and boot unlaced) and hobbling for some of the time on a walking stick ... and survived just fine.
I am not sure I would have been as comfortable on my RT BMW, under the circumstances.

I owe this bike.

So, I think this idiot needs his a$$ kicked around for the duration of his 45 minute limit (as he mentions).

Bedouin. Blessed are those eyes that have seen more roads than any man! (Homer).
