Whut sorta horsepower dus it make?" one was keen to know. “Er, not many.” The answer’s a claimed 61bhp, but the truth – and this was a tough one to get across to him – is that the Bonnie America looks the part alright, but is so safe, strangled and soul-less that it leaves you devoid of any riding impression, even after only five minutes off the bike.

This dude is way off base on this review and trying to make the America look like some sort of unrefined hillbilly-cycle.

We know the America is a CRUISER and (as everyone but him knows) Triumph actually advertises it's horsepower while the other Cruiser's don't. He could have said that considering the size of it's engine, it makes more Horses than almost anything in it's class (and even above it's class).
Our bikes have a LOT of soul and mine leaves me with a smile every time I ride. I don't think this guy ever rode one.

It seems as though he is looking for the comfort of a Goldwing, Performance of a Rocket III, and the handling of a Ducati in a mid-size Cruiser.
