I understand why they didn't get into the absolute accuracy due to budget/hollywood factor but there ARE some things that are not 100%. Don't get me wrong. I'll still continue to watch and still be 'glued to the set'.

One other thing that caught my attention was that when they assigned Washington to lead the continental army, in the movie, Adams says "your army awaits you in Cambridge". I could have sworn that he held up his army at prospect hill in Charlsetown (present day somerville). A foot note to that point is that when the movie shows the continental congress reading our decleration for the first time, you see a group of soldiers holding a familiar looking flag. It is a flag with the british stripes where our present day stars would be found and the rest of the flag has our red and white stripes.

WELL, that is the same flag that the continental army FIRST flew after the battle of bunkerhill. Washington ordered the flag to be flown atop a ship's mast. Very cool hidden fact that I caught in episode 2.
