I too have decided to settle for a memphis shade until someone makes a decent looking, quick removable shield that fits the 07 & 08 models. Here are my 2 cents: the hellcat looks really good on the America, not too big, not too small. It has just enough wind deflection and is high enough for you (I'm 5'-11")to look over. It definately keeps you from eating bugs and cuts the windnoise down. Also keeps the wind off your chest and reduces fatigue on long rides. However, It will not keep you warm.
The only think I don't like is the quality of the hardware and the fact that it's not quickly removable.
For a speedmaster, I would either get the windvest or the fly screen. Either one looks actually good on that bike.
But that's just my humble opinion.
