as to the Windvest, it isn't meant to stop a lot of wind or keep you warm. It just stops head buffeting at speed and maybe gives oncoming insects motion sickness when they do a loop-de-loop over your face.
If you want to be warm on a bike - the America and Speedy aren't the bike for that.....
