I went through this a while back...I wound up buying a set of upper fork shrouds from an 06 or older America/Speedmaster. The 07 and newer are tappered (which is the issue) and the 06 and older are straight.
Once I got the straight uppers I got a Memphis Shades shield and can pop it on and off in less than five minutes...by myself.
Getting the non-tappered shrouds:
Bike Bandit (btw...expensive but theyd be new).
Or...you can post in the classifieds and see if someone wants to sell theirs or trade for your tappered shrouds.
